CEU.com was established in 1999, the result of a merger between Online Teaching International and the Graduate School Online (which was affiliated with Yale University). The company has since grown to be recognized as a leader in the field of multi-media online continuing education. CEU.com’s courses are approved in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, as well as by the CFP Board of Standards, the CPCU Society, and the American College. Our curriculum is designed to provide engaging and high-quality compliance training to insurance producers, adjusters, and a range of insurance designations in the Property & Casualty and Life & Health fields. The courses are authored by professors and insurance industry experts, and they are continually updated to stay current on all relevant topics.

CEU.com’s corporate headquarters is located in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, about 45 minutes south of Hartford (known by many as “the insurance capital of the world”). About our CEO

Bruce MacMillian has been in the insurance industry for more than 35 years. He has worked in leadership roles with companies including Aetna and Travelers, and he served as Executive Vice-President with the start-up company HealthIS. HealthIS’s revenue grew to more than $12 million during his tenure, and the company was successfully sold in 2002.

MacMillian holds a BS degree from the University of Hartford and an MBA from the American International College. He is a member of the Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals and the Securities and Insurance Licensing Association. In his spare time, MacMillian enjoys traveling and collecting antique and vintage cars.
